PROMETHEUS

Journal of the PhD Program in Architecture at IIT

Prometheus is an award-winning peer-reviewed journal that presents reaserch-in-progress developed for the annual student-run symposium organized by the PhD Program of the College of Architecture, Illinois Institute of Technology. Each year, PhD students are selected to serve as guest editors of the Journal. Each issue of Prometheus also includes an annual overview of the achievements of our PhD students, as well as related activities ranging from our weekly Architecture research Forum lectures to field trips and social events aimed at fostering community. The Prometheus series was awarded the 2020 Douglas Haskell Award for Student Journals by the Center for Architecture. Prometheus Issue 01-05 are archived at this link here.

PROMETHEUS 06

We are excited to share that Prometheus 06 is published. Co-Edited by 2022 symposium organizers Piyush Khairnar and Alexis Arias Betancourt, this issue of Prometheus talks about Regenerative Cities: Infrastructure, Landscape, Buildings, and Technologies.
